I Felt His Love Flow Through Me.

TMy first memory of knowing about Jesus is from when I was a young child attending Vacation Bible School at my aunt and uncle’s Baptist church. I learned about Jesus and accepted Him as my Savior. Throughout my childhood, I attended different Christian churches for periods of time with my good friends' families, but during my teenage years, I did not choose Christ as my priority.

During my high school and early college years, my studies, family, and friendships were most important to me. Although I did occasionally attend church and youth group functions and still had a strong faith in God, it was not my main focus. Unexpectedly, a casual conversation with my future mother-in-law (when I was 21) prompted me to question my relationship with Jesus. After deep thought and prayer, I sought forgiveness for not choosing Christ as my priority. I felt His love flow through me, and I was excited to know Him better. Because I was now an adult, this new relationship with Jesus was more grounded and deeper, and I was so grateful for His forgiveness and love.

During the past 30+ years since making my relationship with Christ my priority, He has given me strength and direction and taught me how to truly love others as He loves us. I have especially seen the tremendous effect Christ has had on my life during my marriage and while raising my sons. I am a work in progress, but Jesus continues to guide me and forgive my mistakes each and every day, and I am so blessed by Him!
