Al Paquette Ministries
(Motorcycle & Jail ministry)
Al Paquette Ministries was started in 2000 by Sharon & Al Paquette. They have been in prison ministry since 1986 and have served the Lord since 1985. Jesus gave them servant's hearts so they became involved in many ministries to prepare them for the journey they are now on. They spend their time finding ways to bring the Word of God into jails, prisons, and detention centers around the state of Florida and throughout the country. They are also the biker coordinators for the state of Florida.
You will find them at bike rallies all around Florida helping out in any way they can. Al speaks at camp grounds, Bike Week events, clubhouses, and meetings. He also performs marriage and funeral ceremonies. MORE

What does a world without hunger look like? It looks like everyone having the nutritious meals they need to flourish. Churches, charities, food banks, and non-profit organizations cannot get there alone. Government programs and policies play an important role too.
Federal domestic nutrition programs such as SNAP (formerly known as food stamps), Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC), and the school lunch program are just a few examples. These programs keep millions of Americans from going hungry. International humanitarian assistance responds to natural and human-caused disasters (the Indian Ocean tsunami, for example) and ongoing worldwide crises such as the situation in Syria. MORE

Helping them process the realities of living missionally in an urban center while pursuing their career in the arts. He mentors and disciples Creatives around the country - helping them to understand their identity in Christ, grow in their relationship with Him, and understand their gifting from His perspective. Betsy Guilford
(Jail Ministry - Global Service Network)
Betsy Guilford serves as a chaplain in the Orange and Seminole County Florida women's jails where she provides transitional assistance, spiritual encouragement, jail ministry staff and volunteer training, spiritual retreats for the inmates and worship music at the jail church service. Betsy also serves as a chaplain in an eldercare facility in Orlando. MORE
Carl Thomas
(Prayer intercessor ministry - Cru)
At 7:30 a.m., Carl Thomas walks past empty office cubicles, pausing at a few to utter a prayer for the person who would later sit there. For the early birds he does encounter, Carl prays for requests like visa delays and health problems. No one declines his offer to pray.

Though it's early, this is already Carl's second wave of prayer. He woke at 5 a.m., when the morning was still cool and dewy, kneeling and interceding for an hour – like he does every day. He sleeps in a bit on Sundays, waking at 6 a.m., but still continues his regimen.

Carl serves as prayer chaplain at World Headquarters of Cru in Orlando, Florida, where nearly 1,000 people work, though his prayer focus goes far beyond the office.
Phyllis Thomas

My art-making is an intentional process combining conceptual and thematic images which begin with a thoughtful response to an object, nature, a book, biblical text or music. More often than not it is a spiritual meditation inspired by biblical texts informed by dictionaries, commentaries and historical research. I keep obliterating shapes until I find the bare elements that translate and summarize my personal insights through note-taking, observation and sketches. Almost iconic in essence, my work becomes a symbol or sign extracted from the words I have read and studied.
My primary mediums are fluid acrylics and watercolor on paper or canvas. The renderings are often enhanced with stitched thread, embossing and gold or silver leaf which have the effect of slowing me down and reflecting on the piece as I work--letting it do something to me while I am doing something to it which completes the cycle of my art-making process. Special Projects We coordinate special projects that link local businesses to help others from construction, home renovations, to planting sustainable gardens we connect a community that cares, creates hope and fosters opportunity to those in need.
